SALINE/GALLATIN COs.—The helicopter activity being reported today in and around Harrisburg as well as the crossroads at Junction today has a viable explanation: They’re looking for pot plots.
While we were thinking that it was too late in the growing season for the pot chasers to be out in force, our sources in Saline County have confirmed that the presence of helicopters in the area, beginning this morning at about 9 a.m. and continuing through the noon hour, was due to ISP’s attempts at discovering marijuana production.
We haven’t been advised as to whether they’re using infrared to seek out increased heat signatures. This may one have been an aerial scouting attempt.
At any rate, that’s what all the activity going on overhead is. Let us know if it lands.
