KENTUCKY—Illinois sources confirmed to us late last night that the body of Carter Nall, 3, of Marion, Kentucky, was found at about 11 p.m. last night, Monday, July 15, 2013.
Officials told us this morning the body of the little boy was found in the river near Union County.
There’s no word on anything further, and many questions remain unanswered. Its unclear exactly who among the multitude of agencies searching for the boy found the body, but Hardin County, Illinois, searchers joined late Sunday night, and Pope County also joined the effort yesterday.
An autopsy is scheduled for later today, and further updates will be given as the investigation progresses.
