HARDIN CO.— As usual, Hardin County State’s Attorney Tara Wallace can’t seem to find her ever-widening ass with both hands, nor can she file formal criminal charges properly, this according to her colleagues.
Her first challenge this issue is with Amber J. Henry.
Henry is either homeless, Wallace doesn’t know of an address or she was too busy playing Candy Crush online to bother putting one in the formal charges.
At any rate, Henry, who is also age-less, has been charged by Wallace with Residential Burglary and Theft alleging that on March 16 she entered the home of Vernon and Mary Shaw, located at the 1000 block of Division St., Rosiclare, and took five rings, one belt buckle, 17 necklaces, eight pairs of earrings, medication, a railroad packet watch and various household items valued at more than $500.
Stops before she gets started
Wallace also charged Randi F. Foster, also homeless or a victim of Candy Crush, with one count each of Unlawful Possession of Stolen Vehicle, identified as a 2000 Ford pickup truck and Unlawful Possession of Stolen Certificate of Title.
So confident was Wallace in her accusations that she dismissed the charges a week or so later, resulting in one of those duh moments that have Hardin voters scrambling to find a viable candidate to run against Wallace in 2016.
Cyberstalking
Dillon James Glore, 20, of Harrisburg or Evansville, depending on when you ask him, son of Carolyn Glore, who seems to surface in every major drug investigation in the area (see back page article), has been charged with Cyberstalking.
It appears that the disagreeable Tina Williams taught Tara Wallace a thing or two in her ongoing saga of harassing every perceived “enemy” through Facebook or Twitter, meaning that Williams was at least good for something in the ensuing months, given young mister Glore’s alleged problems.
Authorities say that on or about March 17, Dillon Glore knowingly engaged in a course of conduct using electronic communications directed at Cassie Barnerd that he knew would cause a reasonable person to fear for their safety.
Glore is accused of messaging Barnerd saying, in part “I will promise u that I will make ur life a living hell… u better pack a pistol” and “when I see I I’mma gut u…”
Cash bond in the case has been set at $2,500.
Stolen blades
Danielle M. Decker, of Rosiclare, has been charged with Retail Theft after Wallace claims on March 1 she took razor blades from the Rosiclare Dollar General Store, located at 479 Main St. in Rosiclare.
Decker was released from police custody the same day after she posted a $150 cash bond.
No address for sex offender either
And finally in a case some thought Wallace would even see the importance of an address in, in order to inform and safeguard the general public, Kenneth Reinhart has been charged with Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
One would think Wallace would at least not shy or lazy away from making sure the people who put her in office knew where sex offenders in the county were living.
Apparently that is not the case.
The charge alleges that on or about February 10, within three days of moving into Hardin County, Reinhart failed to register with the sheriff’s department in accordance with the Child Sex Offender Registration Act.
A cash bond of $2,000 has been set in the case.
