SALINE CO.— As of press time of this issue (August 23), a Marion man was being sought on an outstanding Saline County warrant charging him with Attempted First Degree Murder.
According to preliminary details released in the case, on August 20, Rodney D. Brooks, 28, of 1307 West Main St., Marion, knowingly and without authority entered the home of Amanda Brooks, located at 401 Raymond St., Harrisburg at a time when he knew that one or more people were present at the home and while there, repeatedly stabbed, with intent to kill, Brooks about her body with a knife.
Anyone with knowledge as to the whereabouts of Rodney D. Brooks is asked to contact their local police department.
In addition to the murder charge, Brooks also faces one felony count of Home Invasion.
Cash bond in the case has been set at $10,000.
