HARDIN CO.– According to police sources, a woman at the center of a controversy involving the apparent suicide of the Elizabethtown first chief Tim Dillard and state’s attorney Tara Wallace has been arrested.

Sources indicate that Carrie Atkinson, 27, of Elizabethtown, has been arrested and charged with Domestic Battery after sources say she was at “housing in Rosiclare” when for some reason she got into a scuffle with her daughter Emily, age 10 or 11 years.

Witnesses at the scene say Atkinson was “on the ground with her daughter and had her in a choke hold.”

A group of nearby under age girls allegedly heard Emily yelling “Help me!”

Hardin County state’s attorney Tara Wallace befriended Atkinson shortly after the 2012 election and has been trying to use her to mount a case again sheriff Jerry Thomas Fricker and his father Jerry Dean Fricker, both decades long pillars of the community.

Wallace has been grinding an axe against the Frickers ever since the newly elected sheriff cleaned house and rid the county of dead weight, including one of Wallace’s alleged romantic flings in the guise of former chief deputy Tom Maynor.

It was Dillard, who had a long-standing relationship with Atkinson, that contacted Disclosure years ago nearly in tears because he believed Atkinson was trading sex for money/drugs with the elder Fricker.

Atkinson denied any such activity with the elder Fricker and said she doesn’t instantly believe Dillard took his own life.

Sources indicate that the Department of Children and Family Services have been called in on the case with Atkinson and her daughter.

Some believe that Atkinson has become a target of Wallace and her ilk because she has refused to lie about her relationship with either Fricker.

Just prior to his death, it was discovered and published that it was Dillard who met with Maynor, who in turn pushed the idea that the Frickers were involved in such vile activity.

Sources have told Disclosure the Frickers have retained some of the best legal counsel in the state and may very well be in the process of suing Wallace for malfeasance of office, official misconduct and malicious prosecution.

Atkinson’s case—as if it actually makes any sense—is still under investigation by ISP.
