SALINE CO. – As of press time (December 13, 2015), a warrant had yet to be served in the case of massive theft from Clearwave Communications in Saline County.
A warrant had been issued on November 23 upon the filing of information on that same day in the case, in which authorities allege that one Kelly Jo Dalton, 38, of the 1500 block of Highway 145 South, Harrisburg, committed Theft in an amount over $10,000, from the prominent Harrisburg business.
The charge states that between August 2014 and June 3, 2015, Dalton took approximately $57,056.27 from Delta Communications LLC, also known as Clearwave Communications, in an act of theft.
Apparently, the alleged theft was discovered on the June date this year.
Dalton has no discernible criminal history in Saline or surrounding counties.
However, she and her husband Mark have had a small number of Law and Small Claims cases against them in past years, the nature of which indicates that there had been significant financial issues they’d had to deal with, this based on the dollar amounts adjudged against them in the cases.
Because the warrant had yet to be served, there hadn’t been a next court date established as of press time. Watch the website and upcoming issues for updates on the situation.
