HARDIN CO., Ill. - A woman well-known for her questionable antics, and who was on the front page of the January Special Edition just a few weeks ago, is in custody after being caught yesterday by Hardin County Sheriff JT Fricker.
Carrie Atkinson, 29, lately of Elizabethtown but more recently from points west as far as anyone could ascertain, apparently couldn't stay away from her Hardin County family and peeps, and was sliding over from Kentucky, as well as from a hidey-hole in neighboring Saline County, when she was caught yesterday, Friday, January 29.
Atkinson had been the subject of a sealed warrant for her arrest on Residential Burglary, after an E-town family found that their safe had been pilfered and their housekeeper - Atkinson - was nowhere to be found.
She had reportedly fled west, and a phone ping - right here on Disclosure's site, since she'd subscribed to the e-Edition, apparently to find out what everybody was saying about her back home - at one point put her near Omaha, Nebraska.
It's unknown whether she's still being held at the Hardin County jail, or whether there was a bond attached to that warrant.
There were supposedly two men with her, likely in for the money, since she's not nearly the looker she seems to think she is, when she went on the run.
We'll have more in the upcoming issue, February-March, on stands Feb. 17.
