MARION, Ill. - Authorities in Williamson County are working a wreck this morning that happened shortly before 10 a.m. outside of the Marion city limits.
The single two-car (CORRECTED) wreck occurred in the westbound lane at about 9:50 a.m. this morning, Thursday, June 16 at Illinois Route 13 and Spillway Road.
Response was occurring within minutes after the car hit the ditch; passersby were being careful of the pieces of debris on the roadway.
Reports at the scene indicate that two were taken to an area hospital. Traffic has been backed up for two miles. Scroll down for photos.
