GALLATIN CO.— One of Gallatin County’s most insidious scumbags continues his reign as one of the most frequent criminal names in print….at least out of Gallatin County.
Tyler R. Patton, 21, of has been charged this time with thumping on a family member he has been ordered in the past to stay away from.
There just seems to be something about Mercedes L. Hopson that Patton obviously dislikes.
Information filed in the case alleges that on June 3 Patton committed the offense of Aggravated Domestic Battery after he strangled Hopson.
Cash bond in little Tyler’s latest act of violence was set at $4,000.
DUI drugs
And in other acts of idiocy in the region, Troy D. Willett, 39, of 2127 Harding Ave., Evansville, Ind., apparently drove all the way to Old Shawneetown to earn himself a DUI.
Court documents allege that on April 30 Wilett knowingly drove a 1993 white Chevrolet on Old Rte. 13 at Poplar Street in Old Shawneetown at a time when he was under the combined influence of alcohol, other drugs or intoxicating compounds.
Cash bond in the case was set at $3,000.
