GALLATIN CO.— Aaron E. Johnson, 19, of 520 East Main St., Ridgway, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to one of a pair of misdemeanor charges.
Johnson was facing charges of Unlawful Use of Weapons and Disorderly Conduct after authorities say on May 5 he knowingly possessed a pair of brass knuckles and proceeded to walk down Main Street, in Ridgway, aiming a black airsoft BB gun at houses.
His criminal history includes a June 19, 2008 conviction for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, for which he was sentenced to probation for 12 months and ordered to pay $1,352 in fines and fees.
Johnson pleaded to the knife charge in return for the disorderly charge being dismissed and a sentence of probation for 12 months and $727 in fines and fees, of which he has paid nothing.
