POPE CO.— A Golconda pair are in some serious trouble after authorities say they took off with items that didn’t belong to them and one of the pair gave a drug to a minor.
Jacob L. Dunstan, 18, of 625 South Albert St., Golconda, and Dakota Carl Jennings, 18, of 24 Allie Car Dr., Golconda, have both been charged with felony theft and drug offenses.
According to formal charges, on or about February through April 2017, Dunstan and Jennings committed the offense of Burglary when they knowingly exerted control over property of Diana Hana identified as a kitchen table and chairs, wooden entertainment center, a recliner and end table having value totaling more than $500.
The pair are also each charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, identified as seven pipes; and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, more than 10 but less than 30 grams.
Dunstan is additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Syringe after on April 27, authorities say they found him to have at least five of them on his person.
Jennings is additionally charged with Child Endangerment for allegedly giving a minor 200 mg of the antipsychotic saraquil.
Dunstan was released from police custody May 1 after posting a $2,000 cash bond.
Jennings was released from police custody April 29 after posting a $2,000 cash bond.
