The site's rockin today so we took time out of the increasingly-hectic schedule to show you what's in the current issue on stands right now with THIS ISSUE'S PRINT HEADLINES!

Print Headlines are what we provide so you can see what's in the current issue on stands; we provide the headline with a link to each e-Edition article, and a brief synopsis in our own snarky Disclosure style, so you'll know what every article in the current print version contains. They're laid out by sections, starting with Front Page, Back Page (our second front page), pages 2 and 3, Features if any (generally presented on pages 12 and 13), Egypt, Heartland, Central, and Op-Ed. And now without further delay, we bring you THIS ISSUE'S PRINT HEADLINES!

FRONT PAGE

XZAVIER GIBBS

Shirley Hamilton

Aries Gibbs

HARRISBURG - Community rallies against violence: This one could very well be called "How to raise a gang of hoodlums 101." That'd be because the majority of Harrisburg's most recent woes stem from one family, with almost every one of them - including the putative patriarchs - featured in this lengthy piece. And it must've had a fairly profound effect on the incubator, Ms. Shirley....she's been uncharacteristically quiet, having dropped her threats of violence against us. This one's a must-read.

JASPER CO. - FOIA denial: Could it lead to lawsuit against the county? So many public officials don't understand what a FOIA is...and what's required of them if they receive one. These people are supposed to receive training in order to properly answer FOIAs...but in Jasper County, they're already skirting the law eight ways to Sunday. Sometimes, the only way to make these people understand that they can't do what they're doing is to file a lawsuit...especially if a person is unlawfully detained.

OLNEY - Murder victim guardian killed: The follow up to the report we brought to you on deadline about the death of Tim Eads, one of the guardians of the late Sabrina Stauffenberg (something mainstream spoon fed media failed to point out...like they just missed that point or something...) And guess what...? The follow up to THIS one is even MORE remarkable. So get out and get this issue, because this is indeed deep, and you'll need each issue in order to understand what's going on.

LAWRENCEVILLE - Old Lawrenceville High School building burns: Some of the best art of this fire yet. And read what people are saying about it...because what the people are having to endure is what matters, after all.

Brittany Lane

MARION - BATTERY CHARGED: The saga of whiny Brittany Lane continues...and her significant others continue to ignore what they're getting into with her. You need to pick up this issue if, for nothing else, the photo of her sniveling face in her mugshot. It's quite a different expression than the mugshot we ran from 2011 in the online article...and quite a bit more information contained in this article over what we produced with the initial account of the situation.

BACK PAGE

Kevin Frutiger

CLAY CO. - Clay City man charged with sex offenses in two counties is sentenced in one: Kevin Frutiger tried to pull the 'crazy' card a la Glenn Ramey...and failed.

Nicole Bryant

SALINE CO. - Harrisburg woman seeks to help those abused: The mother of abused woman Nicole Bryant watched the now-imprisoned Brian Potts batter Bryant for years. Now, she's fighting back...by helping other young woman who can't imagine leaving that big gorgeous hunk who "loves" her by seeing that there's no "love" in a man who can beat you constantly and then come begging back saying he's sorry...only to do it again a few days later.

PAGE 2

RICHLAND CO. - Jury trial to establish Ramey's fitness to be scheduled for August; murder trial later: We promised more after the initial article on Glenn Ramey's May 19 hearing, and here it is. This article is the full, comprehensive report on the hearing...and what's coming up for the accused murderer of Sabrina Stauffenberg.

PAGE 3

Just so you can see it in color. Also, without that block.

SO. ILL. - Peoples fires back at racketeering charges: We've got dueling banks in the Grand Rivers Community Bank vs. Peoples National Bank massive federal suit...but from what we're hearing, the feds aren't impressed with either side right now. More to come. Don't miss an issue of this riveting series of articles (and yes...for those wondering, we didn't hit one in the May-June article because the news budget works per county, and we had the big Chad Payne article in that one, which precluded the GRCB v PNB coverage. So BUY MOAR PAPERZ. That way, we can either DO more papers, or make bigger papers so our news budget won't be constricted...and if you're thinking about taking out an ad, hey...do that too. More ads mean more pages.)

FEATURES

WEST SALEM - West Salem board might be simmering insanity: When have they NOT been? For the past 18 years the board of trustees in the village has had at least ONE whackadoo on it...and when you pair whackadoo with do-nothing, you have a dying village...and that's too bad, because then people like Harv Fenton end up running things.

EGYPT

NATHAN MOORE

SALINE CO. - Victim thumps burglar with board, neighbors hold for police: Exactly what it sounds like. Good job, neighbors!

SALINE, CO. - Golconda perp among dopers arrested during traffic stop: Because people come to Harrisburg from all over, just to commit crimes. Allegedly, of course.

HEARTLAND

EFFINGHAM - Is Effingham Unit #40 School District punishing voters over sales tax referendum? Why not. They seem to be punishing STUDENTS.

JASPER CO. - $10,000 cash bond set in Newton sex abuse case: It's good to see Chad Miller at least taking the alleged sex offenders seriously enough to hold them at high bond.

CRAWFORD CO. - Robinson drug felon charged after police say he called 911 and lied - reported a man was going to rape him: He is apparently not part of the rainbow crowd.

CRAWFORD CO. - Robinson man charged with damaging gambling machine and fighting with/injuring police officer: This is the guy with the god-awful growth on his chin. Hit the link to see it.

CRAWFORD CO. - Flat Rock man gets DUI after being found asleep at intersection with beer between legs: Which, apparently, is part of his equipment.

JASPER CO. - Newton drug suspect charged with meth: A Jasper county dope report.

WHITE CO. - Convicted drug dealer busted for breaking into woman's home and taking television: Because every con needs a big screen TV...

WABASH CO. - Mulberry Street convicted felon accused of robbing woman: But..at least in his mugshot, he seems happy about it.

Thomas Campbell

RICHLAND CO. - Richland lawmen snag two more suspected drug dealers: It's been a little slower than usual lately for Richland dopers. Looks like things are heating back up.

LAWRENCE CO. - ANOTHER BATTERED CHILD: $10,000 cash bond set in child abuse case: At lease SOMEBODY in Lawrence County is being charged with child abuse.

RICHLAND CO. - Olney couple charged with thumping on each other: Because that's what a lot of em do, ya know.

WABASH CO. - Reports of snakes and dead bodies lands woman in jail: We know Tina. She's a nice gal. She can usually handle her meth. But this time...she couldn't, apparently.

EDWARDS CO. - Ellery man suspected of sexual abuse: Kind of confusing, but here's what we know.

CLAY CO. - Flora man suspected of sex abuse: Authorities say he "took advantage" of a woman.

EDWARDS CO. - Two arrested in Edwards County on felony counts: Two charges coming to us on deadline.

WHITE CO. - White dope roundup includes Enfield woman charged with dealing drug to minor: Sometimes, I think these people don't really know what "dealing" is...

LAWRENCE CO. - Bridgeport meth felon busted with 80 grams of designer drug: No. Designer drugs in Lawrence...?? Yeah, if they're going to be anywhere, that's where they'll be.

Lester Glenn, alleged Darnell-kicker. Give that man a beer.

LAWRENCE CO. - St. Francisville chief gets kicked in the head: Billy Darnell, injured on the job. Not severely enough to get him off the job, however.

WABASH CO. - West Salem drug felon jailed in burglary case: The return of Jerry Osmon, one of Edwards County's original meth makers from way back in the day.
