HARDIN CO.— A Rosiclare man has been charged with running from a police officer following a traffic stop he didn’t want to participate in.
Taylor Paul Joiner, 28, of Ferrell Road, Rosiclare, has been charged with Fleeing/ Attempt to Elude Police after authorities say on December 18, 2017, while operating a 2002 black Nissan passenger car at 1:31 a.m. at Main Street and Ferrell Road, in Rosiclare, he refused to stop when deputy Nick Keltner activated his emergency lights in an attempt to execute a traffic stop.
Once stopped, Joiner allegedly took off on foot, running from the deputy, but he didn’t get far and by the time he was caught he had earned an additional charge of Obstruction of Justice.
Joiner was released from police custody the next day after a $150 cash bond was posted on his behalf by Fred Burch.
