SALINE CO., Ill.--A man convicted in an early April jury trial in Saline County has learned his sentence as of yesterday.
Jedadiah Russel, 28, of Eldorado, was sentenced Thursday, July 23, 2015, to 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Russel was convicted of Aggravated Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to Property over $300 after a jury trial in early April. Russel, a long-term offender in Saline County, was arrested last September in the multi-count incident.
Russel has in the past been connected to the now-federally-indicted Carolyn Sue Glore McGhee, as this article from 2012 explains.
Assistant State’s Attorney Eva Walker prosecuted the case. Judge Walden Morris presided.
