WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - A daycare owner in Carterville took to the internet to underscore the importance of ensuring medications are locked up so kids don't get hold of them.

The owner of Robin's Nest Learning Center in Carterville, Robin Moore, took to her Facebook page to tell about what happened recently that prompted her response.

The incident, one of our Marion correspondents has confirmed, happened at a Williamson County School. The children, all near the same age, are all fine. Two of them attended Robin's Nest, which is how she became aware of it.

The medication, it was reported, came from an unsecured location at one of the children's homes.

Moore stated to our correspondent that it wasn't about which child did what.

"It is about the importance of keeping medication secured away from children," she said. "It can happen to any child at any time."

She is educating the children at the center on the appearances of medicines looking like candy. Not in the veracity of the child saying "it was a Sweet Tart."

The school is investigating and Children and Family Services have been notified....but kudos to Robin Moore for taking this initiative!!
