HARDIN CO., Ill.—Illinois State Police dive teams have recovered a red SUV with four intact tires from the Ohio River at Rosiclare.
The vehicle was pinged by sonar earlier today in the search for missing woman Chrissy Williams.
The vehicle right now is still partially submerged, and partially on the riverbank.
The site of the vehicle was a spot not far from the concrete boat ramp, a public access to the Ohio, at Rosiclare, the town where Chrissy Williams’ last know whereabouts were.
Family is at the location and they are sobbing as the state police work the recovery effort.
Tami Jackson, Chrissy’s sister, has been heard screaming “We found her! We never gave up!!”
There are people leaving the scene of the vehicle, becoming physically ill.
